About the Shower Bus Project
The Shower Bus will travel different routes around the borough to offer the simple dignity of a shower to Brooklyn’s homeless and under-housed residents.
The experience will be designed to say to homeless people: You are worthy. We see you and we care.

The shower bus is an expansion of Turning Point Brooklyn's "We Care About You" shower project, which operated out of Sunset Park for a number of years, and provides users with showers as well as clean towels, shampoo, shaving kits, soap, socks and underwear, toilet facilities, access to laundry services, snacks, and a safe space to relax. In addition to the physical amenities of showers and a safe space, the mobile shower bus will also employ an outreach coordinator and Peer Specialists to assist individuals in need with access to social service resources and programming to comprehensively address their full spectrum of needs.
